The complete geolocation and mapping toolkit

Using the Fieldtype

The Fieldtype is by far the quickest way to plot your map data. Simply initialize a map and call your custom field with the appropriate id. All the content is contained in the database and will be plotted accordingly.

{exp:gmap:init id="map" scrollwheel="false"  style="width:400px;height:300px"}

{exp:channel:entries channel="gis_data" entry_id="23" disable="member_data|pagination|categories|category_fields"}

	<!-- This relies on the fieldtype for the infowindow content -->

	{gis_gmap id="map"}

{/exp:channel:entries}

Override User Created Windows

This examples demonstrates how one would create a custom information window, even though the content is already stored in the database.

{exp:channel:entries channel="gis_data" entry_id="23" disable="member_data|pagination|categories|category_fields"}

	<!-- This relies on the fieldtype for the infowindow content -->

	{gis_gmap id="map"}
		This content is set manually
	{/gis_gmap}

{/exp:channel:entries}
